Festival Rules and Information
Hours:
The craft show will run 9
a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Music and games will
continue until 9 p.m. both evenings and crafters are
welcome to keep their booths open if desired.
Setup: Thursday,
May 13th,
2010 6-9 p.m.
Friday, May 14th 2010 6-8 a.m.
Displays:
You
must supply your own displays, tables, chairs, covers,
etc.
Security:
Overnight
security is not provided. Each vendor exhibits all
work at his own risk. The Festival is not responsible
for damage, theft or loss of items.
Parking :
After unloading, please move vehicles from the
exhibition areas into designated parking. Please note:
Because of
the stage location, some booths will not be able to
move cars into the area to dismantle and load until
after 9 p.m. nightly. If you are located in one of the
blocked areas and dismantle and remove your booth
prior to the end of the festival, you will need to
transport your items to your vehicle. Please plan for
this.
Fees:
No
booth spaces will be held without completed
application and booth fee paid at time of
registration. $10.00 late fee applies after April 15,
2010. Booth fees are non-refundable.
Additional information:
· No
electricity or water is available
· No yard
sale or flea market items allowed
· Event is
held rain or shine vendors are responsible for
providing weather protection for items
· No food
items may be given away except as samples provided by
food vendors.
· Bake
sale and food items require current Board of Health
permit.
· Absolutely
no stakes may be driven into city streets, therefore,
weights should be tied to tent legs if necessary. All
chairs, coolers, boxes, merchandise, tables and such
must be contained in your designated space. Please do
NOT block sidewalks, walkways or doorways of stores
that are open for business.
· If your
merchandise cannot fit into one space, we suggest that
you consider two spaces.
Deadline:
April 15,
2010; $10 late fee applies after April 15, 2010
Liability: The City of Arab, Festival
planners, Downtown Business Owners will not, under any
circumstances, be held liable in case of damage due to
fire, theft, breakage or any other loss to exhibitors
or their property. I have read the information and by
my electronic signature I am stating that I agree with
the rules and terms outlined, and will abide by these
terms. I also agree to hold responsibility for these
terms for anyone that shares my booth space.
Application will not be considered submitted until payment
in full is received. Application does not guarantee
admittance into the festival. Confirmation letters will be
mailed on April 30, 2010. Confirmation will include booth
assignments and set up times. Applications not accepted will be returned at
that time.
