You do not want to miss this year's celebration - Fun for the whole family! Mark your calendar and make plans to join us on Saturday, May 19th as we celebrate our 28th year!

The Poke Salat Bluegrass Festival is an annual event hosted by the Arab Downtown Association of businesses and the City of Arab. The Festival hosts a variety of  vendors;  entertainment areas and street performances in the Downtown Area; a Car Show hosted by Arab Customs and Classics; Kid's Zone including games, inflatables and an ice cream eating contest sponsored by Milner's Dairy Delight; and Bluegrass music at the Arab City Park in the evening hours. 

Our vendor booths include art and craftsmen, a variety of food, non-profit organizations and churches, and local businesses. New this year: Artisan Avenue, an area dedicated to showcasing some of the area's best artists and artisans - browse a variety of handcrafted items along 1st Avenue NW. 

Entertainers generously donate their time and talents for a variety of performances Downtown throughout the day.  We do allow for our musical performers to sell their CD's during their designated performance times.

We welcome you to join the 28th annual Poke Salat Bluegrass Festival as a participant. 

Entertainment/Street Performances

We have several areas downtown where we will have performances throughout the day. We are in search of local bluegrass bands/singers that can do acoustical performances in exchange for offering their CD's or band merchandise for sale during their performances. 

Street Performers - looking for magicians, actors, balloon artists, clowns, puppeteers, etc.. that would like to stroll through the festival and entertain.  These are non-paid performances, but would be great exposure for local entertainers, theater groups, etc..
